Facebook is getting more and more strict on nudity. Bare buttocks in the picture? That's no longer allowed either.
Our posts and photos are increasingly being deleted by the automated systems of Meta (the company behind Facebook), which do not distinguish between an “ordinary naked body” and s*x.
Of course, we object to this every time. Because we think this trend is worrisome. It affects not only us, but we also get these signals from foreign federations and other naturist groups on Facebook.
It's time to make ourselves (internationally) heard and let Facebook know that their algorithm is too narrowly tuned and incorrect. Because again: a normal naked body and s*x are two different things.
Doing nothing is not an option for normalizing bare bodies.
