Dear Roof Goers,

it is with a heavy heart that we’d like to announce that The Other Roof has ceased its operations at 28 Ann Siang Road. We’d like to thank you for your generous support and love all these years.

Don’t fret, this is not a goodbye but a see you later! We’re in the midst of looking for a beloved abode to continue serving you great cocktails, picturesque views, scrumptious tapas and most importantly, an unforgettable time.

It’s World Bartender Day this week! So, we thought you should get to know our Head Bartender, Maan better. How Maan became a bartender is a story of grit and luck working out in his favour. He started off as a barback for two years – getting behind all the hard work while doing a hotel management diploma on the side.

And what about luck you may ask? Well, Maan’s bar supervisor told him he’d train him if a customer would order his drink again. Lo and behold, his first cocktail, a Mojito was ordered by the same customer thrice. We’re not surprised and the rest they say, is history.
