Two months in Western Australia, moving with the seasons from spring into summer, from Scarborough and Fremantle to Rottnest Island, Margaret River, and those quiet hidden coves near Albany with their turquoise water, white sand, and granite outcrops.

Barefoot on the sand, wrapped in a PALMIER ILE handwoven shawl between cold ocean dips and soft, glowing sunsets, each day slowed into a simple rhythm of sea, wind, and sun.

That's the essence of PALMIER ILE: presence, slow living, and quiet luxury in nature, just like that, by the ocean.

As the founder of PALMIER ILE, I feel especially grateful today. Growing up in this little red dot has opened doors to so many opportunities that shaped who I am and where I’ve come. Singapore’s resilience and openness continue to inspire my journey every day.

While I don’t often wear red, today I’ve added some pops of red and white to join the SG60 celebration in my own way, paired with our elegant Kyniska Kaftan.

Here’s to Singapore — and to each of us. May we keep growing, dreaming, and building a brighter future.
