Across Shangri-La, we are finding new ways to keep Asia’s living heritage present – inviting guests and communities to experience time-honoured traditions through a contemporary lens.

At JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La , we hosted a series of Chinese Ink Workshops in partnership with Beyond Social Services – a local charity dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families from less privileged backgrounds to break the cycle of poverty.

Bringing together a vibrant multi-generational community of eager young learners and local seniors, the workshops celebrated the beauty of traditional Chinese art while fostering deep cultural appreciation and mutual support.
