PARTY PEOPLE ! DON'T MISS THE BIGGEST DANCE MUSIC PARTY IN THE WORLD ...

ZoukOut tickets on sale from Oct 19, full line-up announced

The full line-up for annual outdoor ravefest ZoukOut is out.

Aside from Swedish DJ and producer Avicii, Scottish electro-house DJ Calvin Harris and Grammy-nominated DJ Paul Van Dyk, Siberian-born singer and house DJ Nina Kraviz, Australian electro-house and dubstep duo Knife Party, German electronica DJ Paul Kalkbrenner and funk-house DJ Maceo Plex have been added to the list.

The fun will kick off on Dec 6 with a pre-party at Zouk, headlined by Avicii, before moving on to a two-day rave at Sentosa beach.

Tickets go on sale on Oct 19 on www.zoukout.com and at the Zouk ticketing booth.

Balestier are in central Singapore.

Strung along the North-South Line just north of Orchard Road, Balestier is a rather dissimilar district serve to absorb Singapore's urban sprawl and house its inhabitants. Nothing is particularly attractive from a tourist's point of view, but Balestier is popular for short and longer-term stays in Singapore — quiet and reasonably priced, but close enough to be convenient.

Balestier offers one of Singapore's largest clusters of cheap hotels, second only to Geylang.

Balestier does not have convenient access by MRT, although it's possible to hike over from Toa Payoh or Novena stations (10-15 minutes). However, there are quite a few bus services along Balestier Rd, with the most useful ones being SBS 145 to Bugis, City Hall, Boat Quay and Chinatown, 130 to Bugis and City Hall, and 124 to Orchard Road and City Hall.
