Thank you to all our wonderful guests who took the time and trouble to write such kind and much appreciated reviews. It was another very tough year for everyone, but your lovely words and warmth certainly raised our spirits. We are so encouraged and cannot wait for a simply fantastic 2022.

We are so proud to announce that we’ve won the Booking.com "Traveller Review Awards 2021", achieving a fantastic score of 8.8 out of 10.

THINGS TO DO IN WINTER: Hike To Mala Osojnica For The Best View Of Lake Bled

While pretty much any spot around Lake Bled offers amazing views to photograph, but if you want to get the picture postcard shot of Lake Bled, with both the island church and the castle all backed by the majestic peaks of the Slovenian Alps, you will have to make a little effort and hike to the Mala Osojnica viewpoint.

The hike to the Mala Osojnica viewpoint is one of the best things to do in Bled. At the top is a great viewing point for photography, and you get a fantastic view of Lake Bled, the island church, and of the hilltop castle.

Starting just beside the little Lake Bled's beach at Zaka, just opposite the boat rental house, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the top.
