Bovec village to Slovenia's highest ski resort, Kanin, which is in turn connected to the Italian ski resort of Sella Nevea. Other ski resorts in Italy (Tarvisio) and Austria (Arnoldstein) are also within 30minutes drive of Bovec. Hire bikes from the village and go mountain biking, alternatively you can take a paragliding flight or even a tandem sky dive. Fly down Slovenia’s newest and longest network of zip lines. Hike or climb through the mountains surrownding the Soca Valley and the Triglav national park. Paddle down the Soca river with one of the many watersports agencies based in Bovec. Walk to the stunning local waterfalls, or take a day trip on the mountain train to Lake Bohinj or Lake Bled. Bovec zip line park (2.4km long) opened up in 2012.
