MCC Hostel is located in a recently refurbished historical building that is highly efficient in the use of natural resources and ecologically sound. The youth hotel offers 42 beds in 11 rooms, each one theme-decorated by a group of artists to take you into a parallel universe of myths and legends from Celje's history. You can be tucked to sleep by restless fish on the glittering surface of a lake,

or use graphite to leave your mark in the room where you spent your best holiday ever, dress up as a real ninja, sample the spirit of the socialist past, or find out what in god's name Alfred Nobel was doing in Celje.

Slavnostni uvodni koncert ob 80-letnici Mladinskega pevskega festivala Celje, združeni mladinski zbori celjskih osnovnih in srednjih šol ter Simfonični orkester RTV Slovenija v dvorani Kajuh.

Od 31. marca do 19. aprila 2026 bo v Celju potekal Mladinski pevski festival, državno tekmovanje mladinskih pevskih zborov, ob tem pa tudi bogat spremljevalni program.
Festival v letu 2026 z bogatim sporedom praznuje 80 let od prvega množičnega koncerta mladih pevcev, takrat poimenovanega Praznik mladinske pesmi.

We’re excited to welcome a traveler from Tenerife who has chosen MCC Hostel as one of his stops on this incredible journey! 🌍

He’s been “on the road” for the past 6 months, exploring the beautiful region of the Balkans and soaking in the culture, landscapes, and people of the former Yugoslavia.

He says he truly fell in love with this part of the world — and who can blame him? ❤️ From mountains to coastline, the spirit here is something special.

In fact, he told us that one day he hopes to make the move and call Montenegro his home.

Vabljeni v Celje, saj nas čaka živahna sobota!

V MCC-ju bo pustna zabava za najmlajše, ki bo tokrat v znamenju ljubezni.
Na Celjskem sejmišču bo sejem japonske pop kulture One Up. Za zaključek dneva pa bo v Celjskem rokometnem hramu tekma med RK Celje Pivovarna Laško in turškim JK Bešiktaš, pred katero bo živahno s koncertom skupine Vzrock!

Fairytale Celje – European City of Christmas 2025 is a place of authentic, sustainable and, within the local community, community-oriented festive experiences. A city of free events for all generations and all tastes, for lovers of Advent cities and the perfect festive atmosphere.

Over the course of 39 days, 100 events will take place across 17 venues, with the biggest novelty being six light-based experiences and new interactive features in the Fairyland area.
