Country house Dovje is a newly-restored rural house with the capacity of 24 guests in a mountain village called Dovje in Slovenia close to the entrance into Triglav national park of the Julian Alps. The village Dovje is in the tip of the country where the Slovenian, Italian and Austrian borders meet. Thus you can enjoy skiing, cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering and hiking in a different country every day :-). In the summer months the valleys with unbelievably turquoise rivers, lakes and waterfalls enable you to get cool, swim and feast your eyes on the peaks of the Julian Alps. The most beautiful river in Central Europe, the river Soča, offers rafting and canyoning, swimming and its valley offers cycling and hiking. There are hundreds of cycle trails of different levels. Even the lovers of via ferratas will satisfy their needs here.

Facilities of the country house:
- a big kitchen with the possibility to cook (fully equipped – dishes, cooker, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, draft beer tap – if needed we provide you with a barrel of beer, children´s high chair), a private garden with a grill for barbecues, a large common room with a dining room, dancing floor – a room suitable for various social functions, events, workshops, exercises, a play room for children
- in winter there is heating using wood burning stoves
- 1st floor:
o a double bedroom + bunk beds + extra bed with a toilet and a shower
o an apartment room – a double bed room + WC, shower, a small kitchen + the more beds
o a tourist hostel room – 8 guests capacity, WC, shower
- 2nd floor:
o Two double rooms with a shared WC and a shower
o Spacious double room + 2 extra beds with a beautiful view of the highest mountain Triglav
Tasty drinking water, 6 parking places next to the house, bigger free parking place 300 m away. Next village Mojstrana (20mins on foot) offers a shop, a post office, ATM.
Directly in the village Dovje, 5 mins on foot, you can visit a traditional Slovenian restaurant (gostilňa), pizzeria, pub called Aljažev chram with draft beer and a traditional cake called kremšnita.
Directly in our country house you can rent a complete cross-country skiing kit, via ferrata kit. In the next village Mojstrana you can also rent bicycles:

We can provide (prior booking necessary) rafting on the River Soča, canyoning or a professional mountain guide for hiking, via ferratas and ski mountaineering.
We kindly ask you to respect the quiet hours after 10p.m. in the village and on the floors of the house where rooms are situated. The village if typical of the houses being in the close neighbourhood to each other and the villagers are used to the peace and quiet.
You can spend the evening hours in our common room and dance hall on the ground floor of our house.
