Say hello to 𝗗𝗲𝗷𝗮𝗻, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗻𝗶𝗮. 🇧🇦

We met Dejan through Workaway, and the original plan was that he would stay with us for 1 month; in the end, we got along so well and have enjoyed working together that he has stayed with us for 2 months in the end. 🤝

He has been the one who was making sure that the hostel was squeaky clean for the past two months. And no matter how much work he had or how hot it was going up and down the stairs, he has always met you with a kind smile.😊

The season is in full swing; even though he is leaving on Tuesday, he deserves a permanent spot here. I hope you've got a chance to meet him, as he is such a genuine human being.💙

All jokes aside, we don't speak every language in the world, but between smiles, Google Translate, and the occasional game of charades have gotten us pretty far. No matter where you're from, there's always a place for you at our hostel - and so far, everyone has found their place here. ❤️

Say hello to Lana, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗮. 🇸🇮

Lana has been part of theYouth Centre Idrija and Hostel Idrija story for quite some time now. You'll find her either at the hostel as this is her summer job, or at the terrace at Summer on the Terrace 2026 events. This year she is the driving force behind Summer on the Terrace - a series of events created by young people from Idrija, for young people. 🌞

But that's not all! 🐾 Lana is one half of a special therapy duo - together with her dog Mara, a certified therapy dog. And when she is not studying, working or organising events, she's busy completing her yoga teacher certification. 🧘‍♀️

With her calm, welcoming energy and friendly smile, Lana is someone who instantly makes people feel at home. Whether you're checking in, joining an event, or simply looking for a good chat, she's always happy to help. ✨
