Parenzana – nekoč ozkotirna železnica, danes pa pot, po kateri se pišejo nova doživetja.
🔹 Med letoma 1902 in 1935 je Parenzana povezovala Trst in Poreč, z vmesnimi postajami v slikovitih istrskih mestecih, kot so Koper, Izola, Portorož in Motovun. Prevažala je ljudi, vino, sol in oljčno olje – srce življenja Istre.
🔹 Danes je to 130 kilometrov dolga pot, urejena za kolesarje, pohodnike in raziskovalce. Pelje skozi tunele, čez viadukte, mimo kamnitih vasic, oljčnikov in vinogradov – in vse to le nekaj zavojev stran od B&B VaLe.

🔹 From 1902 to 1935, the Parenzana connected Trieste and Poreč, with stops in charming Istrian towns like Koper, Izola, Portorož, and Motovun. It carried people, wine, salt, and olive oil – the lifeblood of the Istrian region.
🔹 Today, it’s a beautifully restored 130-kilometer trail for cyclists, hikers, and explorers. It winds through tunnels, over viaducts, and past stone villages, olive groves, and vineyards – all just a few turns away from B&B VaLa.
