"It has only been a few days since our stay at Alpik Chalets in Ukanc, near the breathtaking Lake Bohinj, and we are still reliving the emotions of this unforgettable experience. Even though we stayed for just one night, it was enough to fall completely in love with this little piece of paradise.

What touched us the most was the incredible sense of peace. It wasn't just the silence; it was a feeling that embraced us from the moment we arrived. Surrounded by majestic mountains, lush forests, and the crystal-clear beauty of Lake Bohinj, time seemed to slow down. Zgodba ALPIK-a je zgodba poklona naši tradiciji.

Bohinjski šopek oziroma »pušeljc«, motiv, ki ga najdete na blazinah, odejah in drugih skrbno izbranih detajlih naših hišk.

Predstavlja cvetlice, ki krasijo bohinjske planine – planiko, encijan, rododendron in murko. Rastline med katerimi se lahko sprehajate po planinah, spremljajo pa vas tudi, ko se vrnete v toplino naših hišk.

The ALPIK story is a tribute to our local heritage.

Inspired by the Bohinj bouquet, or pušeljc—a traditional floral motif—you'll find it woven into the cushions, blankets, and other carefully chosen details throughout our cabins.

It features the wildflowers that bloom across the Bohinj alpine meadows: edelweiss, gentian, rhododendron, and vanilla orchid. The same flowers you can admire on your walks through the mountains will accompany you again when you return to the warmth and comfort of our cabins.

Nekateri dnevi se začnejo z budilko, seznamom obveznosti in še ...
Spet drugi se začnejo počasi, s pogledom na gore, v objemu vonja po lesu in prvo kavo na terasi.

S tem, da imamo eno bolj cenimo in smo hvaležni za drugo.

Srce, izrezano v stolu, ročaji na omaricah in še kje… ❤️

Takšni motivi so bili nekoč pogosto del domov. Malo za okras, malo pa zato, da je bil prostor še bolj topel in domač. Tako je še danes.

Garteljc ali naš mali vrtiček ob naših hiškah.

Pripravljate večerjo ali zajtrk, kuhate jutranji čaj. Kaj pa, če si po svežo meto stopite kar na vrt? Ali pa na testenine dodate nekaj listov bazilike in na jutranja jajčka svež drobnjak.

Majhne stvari, ki naredijo bivanje še bolj domače. ❤️

Pred našimi hiškami stoji majhno leseno Marijino znamenje. ✨

Takšna znamenja lahko najdete na vsakem koraku, ob cesti, hišah in poljih. Ljudje so jih postavljali kot simbol zaščite doma, blagoslova in hvaležnosti, za varno življenje, zdravo družino ter dobro letino na poljih in travnikih.

Še danes so naši tihi spremljevalci.

In front of our cabins stands a small wooden shrine of Mary. ✨

These kinds of shrines can be found almost everywhere — by the roads, beside houses, and near fields. People once placed them as symbols of protection, blessing, and gratitude: for a safe life, a healthy family, and a good harvest from the fields and meadows.

Even today, they remain our quiet companions.

Welcome to our fairytale at the end of the world. ✨

Our accommodations carry special names: SAVICA, GOVIC, ZLATOROG, RAVBŠIC, PRŠIVEC. Each of them is connected to Bohinj and the stories that still weave the present with the past.

Above the Pršivec cabin stands the mighty Mount Pršivec, while on its slopes, during rainy weather, the powerful seasonal waterfall Govic appears. According to legend, the dragon Govic is said to sleep deep within the abyss there.

The Savica stream, the main tributary of Lake Bohinj, flows past the cabins and gives its name to one of them. The symbol of ALPIK is Zlatorog — and you can also stay in the cabin named after him. Right next to it stands Ravbšic, a reminder of the hunter who once set out in search of this unique mythical creature.

Dobrodošli v naši pravljici v koncu sveta. ✨

Naše namestitve nosijo posebna imena: SAVICA, GOVIC, ZLATOROG, RAVBŠIC, PRŠIVEC. Vsako izmed njih je povezano z Bohinjem in zgodbami, ki še danes prepletajo sedanjost s preteklostjo.

Nad hiško Pršivec bdi mogočna gora Pršivec, na njenih pobočjih pa se ob deževju pojavi hudourniški slap Govic. Po legendi naj bi v globinah tamkajšnjega brezna spal zmaj Govic.

Mimo hišk teče potok Savica, glavni pritok Bohinjskega jezera. Simbol ALPIK-a je Zlatorog, v hiški z njegovim imenom lahko tudi prespite. Tik ob njej pa stoji Ravbšic, spomin na lovca, ki se je podal v iskanje tega enkratnega bitja.
