September is for figs. 💚

This week at , the vineyard is full of that jammy, jewel-toned fruit — and we’re finding a hundred ways to enjoy it.

Our favourites?

Fig morning cake — fresh figs arranged edge to edge over an olive-oil sponge. Add a little fig jam and cream… and breakfast becomes something else entirely.

Figs & prosciutto — warm from the oven with a little blue cheese, or simply cold with balsamic vinegar and thyme.

Fresh from the basket — picked in the morning, cooled overnight, then enjoyed with yoghurt or creamy ricotta.

And sometimes, the figs don’t even make it to the kitchen…

They sit in Peterc grandmother’s silver bowl, becoming the most beautiful decoration on the table. ✨

We love them all.
