Every morning, my coffee tastes just a little bit better while I look out of the kitchen window and watch the chickens scratching around. Their gentle company brings a smile to the start of each day.

And as if that wasn't enough, they reward us with delicious fresh eggs too. 🐔🥚☕️

Simple pleasures, countryside mornings, and life at its own pace. This is Škaluc. 🥰

Some of the best moments at Na Škaluc aren't planned, they simply happen. 🌿🦡

Since May, we've been lucky to have a family of young badgers living in the small woodland on our estate. Seeing them grow and quietly explore the forest is a wonderful reminder that nature feels at home here.

Our estate is already home to our chickens and mouflons, and now we're fortunate to have wild badgers as neighbours too.

At Na Škaluc, we believe that small-scale tourism and nature can exist in harmony. By caring for the landscape and giving wildlife the space it needs, we hope our guests can experience the peace, beauty, and authenticity of the countryside.

It's these unexpected encounters with nature that make every stay just a little more special. 💚

🔨 Our Biergarten is ready for summer! 🍻

At Na Škaluc, our guests can now relax and enjoy our new 'biergarten' at the back of the property. It's a place to gather over a cold glass of beer (or juice or wine 😉), delicious food, and good company.

We are especially proud of the beautiful handcrafted wooden sign that welcomes visitors to the Biergarten. It was created with exceptional craftsmanship by Jernej Slapsak. His attention to detail and passion for working with wood give the Biergarten an extra unique character.

Thank you, Jernej, for this beautiful piece of craftsmanship. We are very happy with it!

After months of hard work by many wonderful craftsmen, our new camping field and the accompanying sanitary building are now fully complete! 🎉

Each spacious camping pitch has its own private bathroom, for extra comfort and privacy. We're very happy with the result. The first campers have already enjoyed the new facilities. 🏕️💚
