The Predjama castle, built in 13th century in gothic style, is famous for being one of the biggest fortresses built within a rock. It’s also famous for another story, the fate of one of it’s owners, Knight Erasmus who lived there in the 15th century. It is said he came into conflict with the Habsburg emperor and hid away in the castle. Betrayed by one of his staff, he was famously assassinated while sitting on the toilet.

Predjamski grad, zgrajen v 13. stoletju v gotskem stilu je znan kot ena največjih trdnjav postavljenih v skalo. Slaven pa je tudi po usodi enega od lastnikov, viteza Erazma. Erazem naj bi prišel v konflikt s Habsburškim cesarjem, zato se je skril v grad. Zgodba pravi da ga je sovražniku izdal eden od služabnikov, ki ga je uspel ubiti medtem ko je sedel na školjki.
