Alpine Cheesemaking Experience in Soča Valley | Make Your Own Tolminc Cheese
Discover the centuries-old tradition of alpine cheesemaking in the breathtaking Soča Valley, Slovenia. 🧀🏔️
At Alpine Meadow, located at 1,400 metres, you can experience the complete process of making authentic Tolminc cheese from fresh milk. Under the guidance of an experienced local cheesemaker, you will prepare and shape your own wheel of cheese.

The experience also includes a visit to the cheese cellar and a traditional shepherd’s meal with frika, polenta and local wine. Enjoy incredible mountain views, meet cows grazing on the alpine meadows and discover one of the most authentic culinary traditions of the Soča Valley.
