Do you want to learn how to swim but haven't had the opportunity yet? Join our annual FREE Swimming Seminars! Whether you are an absolute beginner or looking to build confidence in open water, everyone is welcome.

At Daltons Banana Guesthouse, we offer swimming seminars year-round, but once a year we make it free of charge so that everyone has a fair chance to learn this essential life skill.

To bring air conditioning to the rooms on our beautiful Banana Island, we’ve expanded our solar array to 15 kW and increased our battery bank to 44 kWh.

This is a big step for our small, off-grid and remote island. We deeply value our guests’ comfort, and air-conditioned rooms will enhance the experience of staying in our little slice of paradise.
Over the past two decades, we’ve experimented with wind and solar energy to preserve the quiet, natural atmosphere of this eco-tourism haven.

We’re happy to announce our updated room categories:

Our team’s celebration for showcasing the best of Sierra Leone on Swedish national television, SVT.
