Capuchin monkeys are among the smartest animals in the Amazon rainforest. They're curious, highly social, and spend much of their day searching for fruits, nuts, insects, and other food high in the trees.

Keep an eye on the canopy during your stay, you might spot one moving through the forest.

The Anjoemara, also known as the wolf fish, is one of the biggest and strongest fish in the Kabalebo River. Known for its strength and powerful fight, it’s a dream catch for anglers.

At Kabalebo Nature Hotel, we proudly practice catch and release. After being weighed and photographed, every fish is safely returned to the river, helping preserve this incredible species and the thrill of catching one for future generations.
