🏝️ 𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗘: 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗮 🇹🇭

Welcome to Koh Chang, Thailand. This trip happened because I wanted to escape the city for a few days. And I ended up here on Koh Chang. I drove myself from my home in Bangkok to Trat and got my car on a ferry to Koh Chang. It was so convenient. And, here I am at one of the first resorts on the island, Centara Koh Chang Tropicana. It is located on Klong Prao Beach on the west coast of the island. While feeling like you are amidst a tropical forest, but all the convenience is here for you.

My first meal was a late lunch. As recommended by local staff, I started with international dishes as their spaghetti and pizza are popular. Plus, I also enjoyed fresh coconut juice and tropical fruit juice. The view from this beachfront restaurant is so perfect!

The next morning, let's listen to the sounds of the waves and the nature around. Some guests get up early for a morning exercise outdoor. There are plenty of spaces in the resort. Each day, there is a morning class conducted by a hotel staff member.

When you get hungry after the exercise, breakfast is ready for you. Breakfast stations here serve international food, local Thai food and drinks. I would recommend you to try Thai coffee and Thai tea as it is not always available at normal resorts. Local snacks like steamed bread with pandan custard or sungkaya is available too.

My room is a beachfront villa. The ceiling is high and the space is huge. This is one of the first beachfront resorts on Koh Chang, so that is why each unit is so spacious. My bathroom with a bathtub has a nice garden view. I feel really comfortable living in my room. And they even have welcome drinks for me. So, Cheers!!

SPA Cenvaree is a famous spa brand under the umbrella of Centara, so I cannot miss trying their spa treatment. They provide a blend of contemporary and traditional therapies from Thailand and beyond. But look at this spa house surrounded by water, it makes me feel so relaxed. This time, I tried a facial massage with a premium skincare product from France, Phytomer. I've been working and travelling a lot and my face always gets exposed to strong sunlight and some pollutions, so it would be a great idea to scrub and nourish my skin from time to time.

Thai boxing class is available for guests here. I requested for this session to be on the beach. Why not? The sunlight is so beautiful in the evening and the overall ambience is so nice. Before the sun is saying goodbye, let's enjoy some Thai food with a spectacular view.

Although it is just a short stay on Koh Chang, but I did rejuvenate myself with all these wellness activities. Hope you enjoyed this stay with me. Stay tuned for the next episode. Please subscribe.
