Tomorrow is the big day as we open once again for visitors. If you're in Chiang Mai please stop by to say hello to the elephants, and maybe buy a basket of fruit to feed them.

A big thank you to all those who have followed us since starting our new journey to improve the lives of our elephants. Your support, encouragement and love for what we're trying to achieve means so much to us.

We are now beginning to produce paper manufactured from elephant dung. Another effort to help raise money for our elephants. We have already developed an organic fertilizer from elephant dung. New ideas have to be found to provide an income.

The Chang Village

The Chang Village, formerly Ban Tong Luang Hill Tribe Village, is owned by Maesa Elephant Camp. It is an organic farm producing rice and vegetables. It is also a retirement home for six elephants from Maesa Camp. These elderly elephants now have a quiet, undisturbed life. Visitors to the village may often see some of the elephants, grazing peacefully on the far side of the rice fields. There is also Dara-Ang Coffee shop/restaurant, an ideal place to take a break, and admire the scenery, while enjoying some refreshments.
