So, if you're planning to visit Chiang Mai for your April holidays, don't forget to save these tips for a smooth and enjoyable trip.

1. Weather & Clothing Choices ☀️
Afternoons in April can reach temperatures around 35°C to 40°C. Therefore, pack mainly light, breathable cotton clothes. Sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen are absolute must-haves. Additionally, since the burning season might still linger in early April, we highly recommend bringing N95 masks to protect yourself from air pollution (PM 2.5).

2. Songkran Festival Preparations
April 13th to 15th marks the world-famous Songkran festival. The moat around the Chiang Mai Old City and Tha Phae Gate are the best and most crowded places for water fights. Buy waterproof bags in advance to keep your phone, wallet, and important items dry. Wearing swimming goggles or large clear glasses will also help prevent water from getting into your eyes.

3. How to Relax in the Afternoons? 🍹
