nsom Hot Spa Hotel has pipeline leading 100 % natural hot spring water into the premises. The water is used for multiple purposes such as guest room bathrooms and the large Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi is divided into a section for men and a section for women and the water is adjusted to a comfortable temperature. The resort offers a wide range of treatments that will restore balance to the body by stimulating the blood circulation and the lymph, improving the digestion, and offering the guest a refuge from the turmoil of modern day living. These treatments which can all be found within the resort premises includes traditional Thai massage, aroma massage, Swedish massage, hot stone massage and various other treatments based on the supply of natural hot spring water.

7) Jacuzzi water temperature
The Jacuzzi area is divided into a section for women and a section for men. Each Jacuzzi accommodates 40 guests and the natural hot spring water is a comfortable 42 degrees Celsius.

The water coming from the natural springs is completely clean and contains a great variety of minerals. The special and most important characteristic of the various springs in the area is that no additional minerals are added and thereby they maintain the combination that nature had intended. The springs are constantly monitored in order to prevent contamination.
9) Water quality – what is the contents of the water
On its way to the subsoil water the surface water passes several layers of stone. Thereby the different minerals in the stones that the water passes decide the combination and the concentration of minerals in the water when it appears in the various springs. There are several springs in the area and they all differ according to the characteristics of the particular stone layers. The quality of the water in each spring is constant and contains a great variety of minerals such as Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Fluoride, Sodium, Sulphates, Nitrates, Carbon dioxide, etc.
10) The quality of the natural spring water
1. The high temperature at 65 degrees Celsius means that the water is cleaner than spring water with a lower temperature or water from a cold spring.
2. The high temperature of the water means that the spring originates from a place closer to the centre of the earth than water coming from a spring with lower temperature. Water from the springs sometimes takes more than 10 years to reach the surface of the earth.
3. On its way to the bottom of the spring and back to the surface the water is filtered through a multitude of earth and stone layers much greater than any other spring.
4. The fact that the natural spring water passes through many earth and stone layers means it will obtain a lot of different minerals on its journey. This in turn means that the natural spring water of Ranong contains a lot of minerals. These minerals are extremely good for the body.
5. Water that finds its way through the layers of earth and stone in a natural way is much cleaner than water extracted from the ground through a well.

This characteristic is in fact only found in a few other places on all of earth itself!

• Location and transportation
The Jansom Hot Spa Ranong Hotel is located in the middle of Ranong Town approximately 650 kilometres from Bangkok. Travel time by bus is approximately 8 hours and travel time by plane is 1 hour. The airport is located approximately 22 kilometres from Ranong Town. However at present no airline is operating the route Bangkok to Ranong.

The hotel has 150 guest rooms divided into 4 classes: Superior (128 rooms), Superior Deluxe (32 rooms), and Junior Suit (18 rooms), and Deluxe Suit (4 rooms). The atmosphere in the rooms is pleasant and clean. From the rooms the guest can enjoy the natural surroundings and is given a choice between a river view and a view to the pool area. The Phutara Restaurant and the Ingthan Restaurant is open from 06:00 – 01:00. The restaurant offers a Thai menu, a seafood menu, an international menu, and a local Lum Phuk fish menu. Also the Jansom Hot Spa Hotel has a Steak menu which is famous all over Ranong. This is supplemented by a great choice of beverages. The delicious dinner is served to the sound of beautiful songs and karaoke.
