The Assava Mentorship Program is about much more than completing certifications.
Our candidates work alongside PADI Course Directors and Senior Instructors, learning and applying the PADI curriculum from Open Water through Specialty courses and Divemaster workshops.
But the real difference happens during the internship. You become part of the dive operation and experience what it takes to work as a professional:
Assist with courses, develop your in-water skills, practice demonstrations, and learn how to manage students in real diving environments.
Learn how to deliver effective briefings, demonstrate skills clearly, assess students, communicate with different learning styles, and adapt your teaching approach.
Get involved in the daily operation of the dive centre, equipment preparation, customer service, logistics, scheduling, and supporting the dive team.
Progress through the PADI system while learning directly from experienced professionals and participating in workshops designed to prepare you for life in the dive industry.
You aren’t just a student. You become part of the team , observing, assisting, teaching, receiving feedback, and gradually taking on more responsibility.
Because becoming a dive professional isn’t only about what you can do underwater.
It’s about how you teach, how you communicate, how you work with people, how you manage a dive operation, and how you represent the industry.
This is mentorship beyond the classroom.
