To score perfectly on your PADI Open Water (OW) Teaching Presentation during your Instructor Development Course (IDC) or Instructor Examination (IE), you must follow a rigid structural briefing. Unlike Confined Water presentations, you do not demonstrate the skill in Open Water; your briefing must prepare the students to perform it directly.

The next PADI Instructor course on Koh Tao Thailand starts soon on September 8th.

Spend fifteen days on the tropical island of Koh Tao, Thailand, where you’ll take the first steps to become a PADI Open Water Instructor.

Training consists of a mix of ocean, pool and classroom learning where you will gain the ability to confidently teach open water and advanced open water divers.

An incredible PADI Women’s Dive Day at Simple Life Divers, Koh Tao! 🧜🏼‍♀️🌊

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a day dedicated to diving, conservation, education, and celebrating the amazing women in our dive community! 🫶🏼

We started the morning with a beach clean-up, where everyone came together to help remove rubbish at Sairee Beach. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to help keep Koh Tao beautiful 🏝️🩷
Next, we headed out to Chumphon, where we were treated to great visibility and some fantastic diving🤿
Back at the shop, we welcomed Lis from oceaan who gave an inspiring talk to some of our team & customers so huge thanks to Lis for sharing her knowledge and passion with everyone.🩵
Of course, no celebration would be complete without ending the day with a party, and plenty of karaoke!🎤

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s PADI Women’s Dive Day such a success. We loved celebrating with you and can’t wait to see you all underwater again soon! 🧜🏼‍♀️🌊
