There are many restaurants and food stalls located just minutes away from the house- the Day Market is right around the corner, here you can find fresh food every day of the week, as well as clothes and household items. Also within walking distance are a range of shops, a pharmacy, video rental shops, bars with live music and banks. In fact, most destinations in Mae Sot are either within walking or cycling distance. Profits from the Homestay go towards supporting a local school located in the North of Mae Sot, that provides education to 20-30 students.
