There’s one question almost every new friend asks us:
“Where did you learn to cook?”
And I always give the same answer:
“From my mom, from my grandma, and from eating at many different places.
I try to remember the flavors, imagine the ingredients, and figure out what creates that taste I love.
If it’s something I can’t find back home, I simply tell myself… one day, I have to learn how to make it myself.”
If you have a recipe, feel free to share it with me 😆
For me, every meal outside has always meant more than just filling my stomach.
I pay attention to the service too.
Why do they serve people this way?
How does it make me feel as a guest?
Would I want people visiting our home to feel the same way?
These questions always stay in my mind after every meal.
Some places became so familiar that we eventually became friends.
From customer to friendship — people who now give advice, taste our food, and help fill in what we’re still missing.

where I not only gained inspiration, but also the recipes I had hoped for 🥳
Some places were friends first before I ever visited.
Like
whose style of hospitality left such a deep impression on me that even today, whenever I need advice on Isaan dishes, I still message them.
Some places are too far away to visit,
so I simply order their food across the sea instead.

And there are many other restaurants
where the food is so delicious that it makes you forget everything else around you.
In the end, this home is simply… us.
We hope to become another home
where people can stop, rest, and enjoy a comforting meal
in the flavors they personally love.
A place where food comes together with stories —
stories about each dish, little details about the ingredients,
places you shouldn’t miss when visiting Sukhothai,
and small pieces of Thai culture and everyday life
that few people ever talk about.
And little by little,
those stories will be shared
when you arrive at this home 🤍
