Rainy season? Where? Sunset sesh at the wetlands, between showers. Even managed to stay dry. Need a bit more rain though to bring that water level up a notch. Not much sun in that sunset, but still magical, with plenty of dramatic background colours.

recap. Great clinic by .araki the current World Champ. Very fast paddler obviously, and yet a very humble and grounded kid. He and his dad coach have a plan, and they are 100% focused on it. Learnt a lot of finer tips. Hard to believe - and a scary thought- but I might be even faster from now on… Then the 15km race. A first proper Sup race for Bridget who managed to finish, in spite of seasickness and zero training (too busy at school). In the meantime Mom took the opportunity to win her age category. Overall an awesome outing, in spite of the heavy rain that hit the venue as soon as the racing was over. We’ll be back.
