An evening of mahjong by the river.
Hosted in collaboration with Mahjong Palace NYC - a globally recognised collective featured in the Financial Times and The New York Times - known for reimagining mahjong as a social ritual across art spaces, galleries, and cultural venues in New York, London, Paris, and Singapore.
Founded by Subhas Kandasamy, Mahjong Palace is rooted in the belief that mahjong is never just a game, but a ritual of gathering: of conversation, nostalgia, and connection.
For the first time in Thailand, this collaboration brings that energy to the riverside at Siri Sala, where the rhythm of tiles, conversation, and shared stories unfolds into the evening.
Or experience the full journey.
The Rivers of Heritage Series is a two-day cultural stay exploring Bangkok’s Chinese heritage along the Chao Phraya - from visits to Chow Sue Kong Shrine and Talat Noi to an intimate evening of mahjong, dinner, riverside drinks, and an overnight stay.
A reflection of Siri Sala’s love of bringing people together through shared traditions.
