The Story of Yim Yam Hostel & Garden

Yim Yam, meaning “warm smile,” encourages visitors to experience the exotic culture and famous hospitality of Thailand. Visiting a foreign country should be a life-changing odyssey, creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime. At Yim Yam we strive to stick to our Thai roots by providing an atmosphere one would expect to see in the Bangkok of the ‘80s with a modern twist! Preserving the historical facets of our location were of utmost importance to us, especially the retro stone flooring of the lobby. Our walls are painted a special “Thai blue” to symbolize the Land of Smiles. We hope our guests appreciate our local and historic art and decor!

We offer daily activities to help you see the best things in the city while making new friends! We also offer free yoga classes once a week to help our guests stretch their sore backpack-carrying muscles! With a variety of private, semi-private, and dorm rooms available, plus free breakfast, we can meet the needs of every traveler’s budget. Our convenient location in the center of the city makes your excursions to landmarks a breeze. We want Yim Yam to be a memorable hostel where friendships flourish.
