หากพูดถึงไวน์ฝรั่งเศส ชื่อของ Bordeaux ย่อมเป็นหนึ่งในภูมิภาคที่ไม่อาจมองข้าม เพราะที่นี่คือหนึ่งในแหล่งผลิตไวน์ที่ทรงอิทธิพลและได้รับการยอมรับมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของโลก
เสน่ห์ของ Bordeaux อยู่ที่ศิลปะการทำ Blend Wine หรือการผสมองุ่นหลากหลายสายพันธุ์เข้าด้วยกัน เพื่อสร้างไวน์ที่มีความสมดุล ซับซ้อน และมีมิติในรสชาติ
โดยที่ฝั่งซ้ายของ Bordeaux มี Cabernet Sauvignon เป็นองุ่นสายพันธุ์หลัก ให้ไวน์ที่มีโครงสร้างแน่น แทนนินชัดเจน และเหมาะกับการเก็บบ่ม
ส่วนทางฝั่งขวา โดดเด่นด้วย Merlot ซึ่งให้ไวน์ที่นุ่มนวล กลมกล่อม และเข้าถึงง่ายกว่า
ในแง่ของรสชาติ Bordeaux มักมาพร้อมกลิ่นของผลไม้สีเข้ม เช่น แบล็กเคอร์แรนท์และพลัม ผสานกับโน้ตที่เกิดจากการบ่ม เช่น ไม้โอ๊ค เครื่องเทศ หรือยาสูบ ทำให้มีรสชาติที่ลุ่มลึก สง่างาม และน่าค้นหา
Bordeaux จึงไม่ได้เป็นเพียงภูมิภาคผลิตไวน์ที่มีชื่อเสียง แต่เป็นหนึ่งในสถานที่ที่ทำให้โลกนี้รู้จักคำว่า Fine Wine อย่างแท้จริง

What makes Bordeaux so special is its tradition of blending grape varieties to create balance, structure, and complexity in every bottle.
On the Left Bank, wines are typically dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, resulting in wines that are structured, bold, and built for aging.
