🏍️🚗 Bought a used bike or car in Thailand? Getting the keys is not the same as completing the ownership transfer.

For foreigners, buying a used vehicle can look simple at first - agree on the price, pay the seller, collect the vehicle and Green Book.

But the important part is making sure the official ownership transfer is completed correctly with the Department of Land Transport.

Depending on the situation, you may need the correct seller and buyer documents, signatures, identification, vehicle paperwork, and supporting documents for a foreign buyer.
