We may not be perfect like a luxury hotel,

Today I was sitting by the window, watching a child eating an ice cream. Such a small moment, yet somehow it filled me with a quiet happiness.

Maybe the happiness of a place
doesn’t come from being perfect.

The 9.7 score we received on Booking.com
doesn’t mean we are the best hostel,
or that we have everything a perfect place should have.

This place is simply an old house
in the old town of Bangkok.

It may not be new.
It may not be perfect.

But to me,this place is not just a hostel.

It is my home. 🤍🤍🤍

Episode 1 | Old Bangkok is where daily life and history truly overlap.

In the Old City,
temples are more than places to visit.
They are meeting points.
Places to rest the mind.
Playgrounds for children.
And gathering spaces during festivals and community life.

In the past, temples were far more important
than most people imagine today.

Many local food shops here
have never changed:
• the same menus
• the same recipes
• the same faces

They served the neighborhood
long before they served travelers.

This kind of authenticity
doesn’t exist in cities designed purely for tourism.

The Old City was never built to impress.
There are
no skyscrapers,
no performances,
no attempts to say “wow.”

Only what is real.

The charm of Old Bangkok
is not its beauty,
but the fact that
the past is still being lived in the present.
