We finally found it… Why do I say that?
Because our family often visits Chonburi and Pattaya,
and most of the time, we buy food to eat for dinner at the hotel.
We had read many reviews about the great value and reasonable prices of this restaurant,
but because it closes early, we never got to eat there before.
Today (August 3, 2025), we made a special effort. Leaving Sriracha,
we stopped at Nong Mon and decided lunch must be here.
Lucky that it’s a low tourist day, so we got a table quickly without much waiting.
One thing I liked is that the map here doesn’t guide you to go through the shrine (across from the restaurant),
but instead directs you through a small alleyway where cars can’t pass.
So, we parked and walked through the community alley.
On the way, we saw two-story wooden houses with folding doors.
Each house was selling different kinds of food,
like crispy Thai-style stuffed dough (very tasty with thin crust), or
some houses sold sun-dried mudskipper fish.
We talked to the lady selling fried bananas – she was very sweet.
That alone filled us with joy while waiting to get more full.
After walking about 300 meters, we found Pa Aon’s restaurant, right across from the shrine, clear and easy to find.
The front of the restaurant has parking for about 7-8 cars, but you must come in through the shrine side for car access.
Pa Aon’s has both single-plate dishes (average 100 baht) and shared dishes (average 200-300 baht).
They serve seafood cooked with home-style seasoning –
with holy basil, curry paste, chili paste, tom yum (spicy soup), forest-style hot soup, ginger stir-fry, and what I liked most was the peeled shrimp and crab meat ready to eat.
Inside, the restaurant is cool and not hot, though outside it was warm.
There are six tables available, seating roughly 20-24 people.
The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The day I came, I didn’t see Pa Aon, but everyone was very friendly.

บ่อยมากๆ ส่วนใหญ่ก็จะซื้อข้าว
ไปกินมื้อเย็นที่โรงแรม
เราเคยอ่านรีวิวถึงความคุ้มค่า คุ้มราคา
ของร้านนี้มาหลายคนแต่ด้วยช่วงเวลา
ทีีปิดเร็วอยู่ ทำให้เราไม่ได้มากินสักที
วันนี้ (3 สค 68) ตั้งใจเว่อร์ ออกจากศรีราชา
แวะหนองมน ต้องจบมื้อเที่ยงที่นี่
ก็ดีมาวันคนไม่เที่ยว พอได้คิวอยู่ รอไม่นาน
ออ ที่ชอบอีกอย่าง ถ้าตาม map ในนี้ เขาจะ
ไม่ได้ให้เราวิ่งไปทางศาลเจ้า (ตรงข้ามร้านป้า)
แต่จะให้ผ่าน ดูเข้าซอยเล็กๆ รถเข้าไม่ได้
เราก็ต้องจอดแล้วเดิน ผ่านซอยชุมชนเข้าไป
ช่วงที่เดินได้เจอบ้านเรือนไม้2ชั้น ประตูบานเฟี้ยม
แต่ละบ้านมีของกินขายที่ต่างกัน
จะเป็นกุ้ยช่ายทอด (อร่อยแป้งบางๆ) หรือ
มีบางบ้านเอาปลากุเลาแดดเดียวมาขาย
คุยกับป้าขายกล้วยทอด ก็น่ารักมาก
แค่นี้ก็อิ่มใจไปก่อนเเล้วอ่ะ รอไปอิ่มท้องต่อ
เดินมา 300 เมตร ได้เจอแล้วร้านป้า ตรงข้าม
ศาลเจ้า ชัดเจน หาไม่ยากเลย หน้าร้านจอดรถ
ได้ 7-8 คัน แต่ต้องวิ่งมาทางศาลเจ้า
รถถึงจะวิ่งเข้ามาได้
ร้านป้า มีเมนูให้เลือกทั้งจานเดียว
(เฉลีย 100 บาท) และ กับข้าว
(เฉลี่ย 200-300 บาท)
จะเป็นอาหารทะเล ปรุงรสฝีมือบ้านๆ
กระเพรา, พริกแกง, พริกเผา, ต้มยำ,
ต้มป่า, ผัดขิง และที่ชอบคือ เนื้อกุ้ง เนื้อกั้ง
แกะเปลือกมากินได้เลย
ในร้านอากาศไม่ร้อน ถึงตอนที่มาข้างนอก
จะร้อน มีทีีนั่ง 6 โต๊ะ (ประมาณ 20-24 คน)
ร้านเปิดทุกวัน 07:00-14:00
วันที่มาไม่เจอป้า แต่ทุกคนอัธยาศัยดีมาก
ดีใจที่ได้มา และจะกลับมาอีก
ร้านนี้ “ดีห้าดาว” ครับ
