Some positive news for Tourists 🤞
Russell Crowe, Academy Award winner, has tweeted to share his delightful experiences during his filming and stay in Phuket and Bangkok. He also praised the Phuket Sandbox scheme and recommended those who have been fully vaccinated come to visit the amazing island. Tourists can enjoy wonderful places and gorgeous tropical weather in Phuket for seven days, after that they can travel outside the island to discover more in Thailand.
The Phuket Sandbox scheme has generated 2.3 billion baht income so far. In 2022, the Government aims to make it a world-class destination by ensuring that tourists have confidence when they travel to Thailand with a high standard of public health policies.
On 14 October 2021, Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha reaffirmed that Thailand was ready to reopen the country and welcome quarantine-free tourists from 1 November 2021 onwards.
