Inthakin Flower Bowl Festival (The Inthakin Festival) to pay homage to the Chiang Mai City Pillar. It is a ceremony to worship the city pillar. Including the spirits of northern people and ancestors believe that the country will be free from disaster. There was peace and prosperity. Worship of the Inthakhin pole begins on the 13th day of the 8th lunar month and finishes on the 4th day of the 9th lunar month every year…….(Inthakhin is the City Pillar....The er****on of this City Pillar will follow the traditions and ancient ceremonies of Buddhism, which will contain the fortunes of the country inside the pillars which this pole is usually made of Chaiyaphruek wood or Javanese Cassia) Illustration: Dancing is one of these traditions.
