The Montha

is a small, Thai - Swiss owned Hotel, right in the middle of Chiang Mai, Thailand Everybody knows what they personally like about a Hotel. Our goal was to create the type of hotel we would love to find on our own travels. Clean, well maintained, friendly, good design, not expensive, not too big and in a good location are some of the important criteria. The feedback from our many happy Guests convinces us, that we are on the right track. Reviews from not so happy Guests help us to make the Montha even better.

The name “Montha” comes from a flowering tree here in the North of Thailand and was given to the Hotel by its original owners.
