Our Farm:
We grow our own organic rice, vegetables and fruits such as strawberry according to each particular seasons. We also open our Farm for public to use for certain social activities, such as meditation, health course and education. Location:
Our Farm is located in a little lovely local village called Bann Panghi (บ้านปางไฮ), Amphur Maerim, Chiengmai, an hour drive from Chiengmai downtown
(approx. 45 kms). Surrounded by hills and small river stream, we are approx. 800 meters above sea level, so the weather at Bella Vita Panghi is nice all year round, especially in winter (sometimes as low as 10 degree celsius). Nearby attractions include Mon Jaem (ม่อนแจ่ม) (20 min), Botanic Garden (30 min), Tard Hmok Water Fall (น้ำตกตาดหมอก) (10 min), Amphur Sameong (สะเมิง) (an hour). Quiet & Serene Farm Stay:
Our Farm Stay is suitable for guests who are looking for a quiet place with serenity, nice weather where you can spend a simple (but comfy enough) and slow life to appreciate nature, trekking, reading while sipping coffee/tea, star watching in a clear sky, etc.. Therefore, those who prefer more of city, luxurious and nightlife will find us not matching your expectation, and you might enjoy more staying in city hotel. Therefore, you will find almost everything more down to earth and simple than luxurious setting. Although our people will be more than happy to serve you by their hearts, please do not expect that you will receive services as you would in a full operation hotel. What Do We Currently Provide:
Farm Stay: We provide simple, safe and comfy (but not luxurious) accommodation located beside a small river stream in our farm, currently consisting of:
- 2 private small huts with a room size of 3*4 sqm. and private bath inside (Baht 1,800/hut/night for 2 persons, excluding breakfast) and
- 1 room of 4*6 sqm. and private bath inside (Baht 2,200/room/night, excluding breakfast)
- Breakfast cost depends on menu, which also depends on seasonal ingredients. Every 100 Baht/night from the room will be reserved as a fund to be contributed to lunch for students in schools in Bann Panghi and for other local community services. Tea Room/Coffee House : We serve fresh herb tea, made from organic herbs grown in our farm, coffee and healthy (non-alcoholic) drinks, and homemade Lanna food. Organic Farm: We grow organic vegetables, organic strawberry and jam, etc, depending on the seasons. Special Activities: Depending on season, we from time to time arrange activities, such rice planting and harvesting, vegetable growing, strawberry picking, cooking, community services to school and temples, etc.
