🌼 “Inthakhin Flower Offering Festival 2026”
Experience the Spirit of Lanna Faith in the Heart of Chiang Mai
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Chiang Mai Office, warmly invites visitors and devotees to join the annual “Inthakhin Flower Offering Festival 2026” at Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan — one of Chiang Mai’s most treasured spiritual traditions, held only once a year.
The ceremony pays homage to the sacred “Inthakhin Pillar,” the ancient city pillar believed to protect the city and bring prosperity, peace, and abundance to the people of Chiang Mai. Deeply rooted in Lanna culture, this centuries-old tradition remains a powerful symbol of faith and community spirit.

🕕 Visitors can join the flower offering ceremony daily from 6:00 AM – Midnight
Within the festival grounds, guests are invited to offer flowers, candles, and traditional Lanna ceremonial items while immersing themselves in the beauty of Chiang Mai’s cultural atmosphere.
Festival highlights include:
✨ Offering flowers and paying respect to the sacred Inthakhin City Pillar for good fortune and blessings
✨ Traditional Lanna cultural parades and folk dance performances
✨ Local music, cultural showcases, and folk entertainment

Witness the grand procession of the revered “Phra Chao Saen Ha” Buddha image from Wat Chang Taem to Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan beginning at 8:00 AM, along with a traditional water-pouring ceremony and vibrant cultural celebrations throughout the city.
✨ Exclusive Cultural Tram Tour
TAT Chiang Mai Office also invites visitors to join the “Chiang Mai Evening Tram & Inthakhin Worship Tour 2026” from 14 – 18 May 2026, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (limited to 40 participants per day).
Enjoy an enchanting evening journey through Chiang Mai’s old town, discovering the legends of the Inthakhin Pillar while exploring Chang Moi Community, Warorot Market, and Tha Phae Gate, before concluding with the sacred flower offering ceremony at Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan.
💐 Visitors are encouraged to wear Thai or traditional Lanna attire to celebrate and preserve this beautiful cultural heritage.

สัมผัสมนต์เสน่ห์แห่งศรัทธา และสืบสานประเพณีคู่เมืองเชียงใหม่ที่งดงามเพียงปีละครั้ง
การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) สำนักงานเชียงใหม่ ขอเชิญชวนพุทธศาสนิกชนและนักท่องเที่ยวทุกท่าน ร่วมงาน “ประเพณีใส่ขันดอกบูชาเสาอินทขิล” ณ วัดเจดีย์หลวงวรวิหาร จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อสักการะ “เสาอินทขิล” หรือเสาหลักเมือง ศูนย์รวมจิตใจของชาวเชียงใหม่ ที่เปี่ยมด้วยความเชื่อแห่งความร่มเย็น ความมั่นคง และความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของบ้านเมือง ตามขนบล้านนาที่สืบทอดกันมาอย่างยาวนาน

ททท. สำนักงานเชียงใหม่ ขอเชิญร่วมกิจกรรม “นั่งรถราง ชมเมือง ไหว้สาบูชาอินทขิล ปี 2569” ระหว่างวันที่ 14 – 18 พฤษภาคม 2569 เวลา 18.00 – 20.00 น. (จำกัดเพียง 40 ท่านต่อวัน)
ร่วมแอ่วเวียงยามแลง ฟังตำนานเสาอินทขิลผ่านเส้นทางเมืองเก่าเชียงใหม่ ตั้งแต่อนุสาวรีย์สามกษัตริย์ ชุมชนช้างม่อย กาดหลวง ประตูท่าแพ ก่อนปิดท้ายด้วยพิธีใส่ขันดอก ณ วัดเจดีย์หลวงวรวิหาร เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ตนเอง ครอบครัว และบ้านเมือง
