gmai municipality.The building's unmistakable character combines influences from Chinese architecture,native Lanna lifestyle and Continental architecturr.The chambers also portray the strong influence of traveling missionaries,Chinese customs and Lanna culture,which can be seen in the teak furniture and grand decorations. Each unit is designed to be a two-storey twin house with the typical structure found in Chinese commercial homes.Each unit also features architectural designs from various other cultures like the arch doors from the Weat,accordion doors from the East,molded lime ornamentations from China mixed with Western-style pattrrns,and Thai Yuan molding techniques.There are 8 rooms in total,each decorated with colonial style furnishing,a four poster bed with canopy,dressing table and old Thai style closet.Other decorstive items include authentic patterns and shapes used to dress ancient pots,Chinese porcelain flower pots,silverware and lacquer ware which are displayed in an antique cabinet.
