• 15:00 – 15:40: Position check
• 16:00: Return to waiting area
• 16:30: Line up (50 participants)
• 16:45: Prepare to enter the road
• 17:00 – 17:15: Walk onto the road and organize the parade
• 17:15 – 17:30: Traditional Fingernail Dance (Atthalak) — 15 minutes
• 17:45 – 17:52: Fingernail Dance for World Record — 6 minutes
• 18:00: Return to waiting area
• 19:00: World record announcement

Chiang Mai Traffic Alert – April 19, 2025

To celebrate Chiang Mai’s 729th Anniversary, a massive traditional dance parade with over ten thousand performers will be held to set a world record!

Road closures (20 points around the Old City) will begin from 5:00 PM onwards.
The parade will take place between 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, starting at San Prung Gate and ending at Tha Phae Gate, passing through Phra Pok Klao Rd., Ratchadamnoen Rd., and Ratchawithi Rd.

Please plan your travel accordingly or avoid the area during this time as heavy traffic is expected.

Passengers traveling to the airport advise to use NIMMANHAEMIN Road and pass-through wing Wing 41.
