At thirty-five years old, she joined the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation in 2016 from a Chiang Rai riding camp to begin a peaceful new chapter. Remarkably calm and friendly, Jathong loves making new companions and fearlessly wades into the deeper river waters alongside her best friend.
