OUR ELEMENT —
Our walls and floors tell a story of craftsmanship.
The walls are built from curved wood edges, creating natural patterns of light and shadow. For the floors, small leftover pieces are joined like a jigsaw, forming unique panels. Together, they give our resort a warm texture — sustainable, thoughtful, and one of a kind.

OUR PUBLIC AREA —
— The natural curves of the wood edges — usually cut away to create perfect rectangular planks — were not discarded. Instead, carefully collected and arranged them into unique patterns, transforming what was once considered waste into striking design elements. These textured wood panels bring depth, light, and shadow play to our walls, creating a new dimension of beauty that feels both natural and artful.

Every detail of The Wood Cabin was made with both our hands and our heart. From collecting leftover wood pieces to arranging them into new patterns, to shaping old shingles into a fresh skin for our cabins — nothing here is mass-made.

This resort is a story of patience, craft, and care. The walls, the floors, the textures… each carries the imprint of time and touch.

At the end, it’s not just a place to stay, but a place built with love — where nature, design, and soul meet in the mountains of Chiang Rai. ⛰✨

OUR EXTERIOR —

The exterior of The Wood Cabin is wrapped in a second life. We chose to cover the buildings with old wooden shingles, arranged into a rhythmic pattern that gives the cabins their distinctive skin.

Instead of discarding, we reimagined — each shingle carrying its own grain, tone, and history, now woven together to create texture, depth, and character. By layering these aged pieces, the resort gains a natural patina that blends beautifully with the surrounding mountains, echoing the sense of time and place.

The result is not just a wall covering, but a design that turns weathered wood into timeless beauty — making every glance at the resort’s exterior feel warm, tactile, and alive with story.
