After five years later since the initial renovations in November of 2020, the room has been occupied since, until now. Throughout the years, the room has been continuously upgraded with minor additions to suite the preferences demanded by the tenant. Being mindful that each and every tenant has a unique lifestyle and specific priorities to deem a given space as their home, we regularly customise the rooms to meet the needs of the tenants here at The DORM Chiangrai Service Apartments.

DRESSING ROOM

For many years that we have seen our daily guests as well as our monthly tenants whom have been inconvenienced trying to prepare for events ranging from weddings to graduations and many more social gatherings in between. For this reason, we have decided to sacrifice a room to accommodate and facilitate in grooming for a special event thus bestowing a sense of privilege to our patrons. Regardless of "rain, hail or sun", makeup artists, hair dressers, manicurist/pedicurist and seamstresses/tailors can be scheduled to the property either by the patrons themselves or by us. Catering can also be organised upon request however with ample time depending on the food to be served.

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

One of our long-standing tenants has decided to come back to reside with us and this was the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation. So we decided to make small improvements regardless of big expenses.

1.) Relocate the air-conditioning unit in order to raise the curtains and block as much sun light as possible, keeping the room cool even in summer.

2.) Install additional spotlights in the ceiling
1 x over the bed headrest for reading
1 x over the mirror in the bathroom

3.) Provide additional electrical appliance for convenience - MICROWAVE

4.) Install additional power-points for the fridge as well as the microwave.

5.) Powerful water heater for showers in the winter.

6.) Configuration of furniture as needed by the tenant.

Due to insufficiently filtered water supplied by the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) of Chiang Rai for many days since the devastating floods which took place on the 11/09/2024, we have opted to filter the water supplied further in order for our tenants and daily guests to have access to adequate clean water

BED & BREAKFAST

With easing of restrictions and lifting of travel bans, we have decided to re-launch our breakfast service at the hotel starting on the 1st of July 2022. We will be serving our signature breakfast in the appointed rooms only by reservations.

The Dorm Breakfast consist of:
● orange juice or apple juice
● 2 sunny-side-up eggs
● 2 slices of smoked hams
● 2 chicken sausages
● pan roasted potatoes
● home-made pickles
served with toasts and condiments
Time of Service: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS - R #301
We have upgraded the lightnings as well as increased the number of power-points in the room to facilitate our future tenants. We have also provided additional furniture to accommodate tenants who are constantly challenged with work loads and for some where working from home is a necessity during COVID-19 pandemic. In doing so, a study or a work area is created overlooking the garden and the very best greenery of fields and mountain ranges in the distance during the rainy seasons. A new shower heater has been installed to keep our tenants warm during unusual winters and a new refrigerator to keep all things cold during swelling summers. Oversized wardrobe is also provided instead differentiating from other rooms alike.

NECESSARY UPGRADE
As the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic is worsening unpredictably, it is prudent that "duty of care" is upheld and practiced by all business operators at any given premises. In our case, we address the Residential Health & Safety concerns and take measures to protect the welfare of each and every tenant. In doing so, we have replaced the traditional press-button exit switches with a glass plated touch-less sensors in order to significantly reduce the chances of transmitting any diseases among the tenants.

For any enquires, please do not hesitate to call us at 087-922-2525. Our new office hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 and we have opted to suspend the hotel operations (no daily check-ins allowed) to protect the monthly sector.

NEW STANDARDS & Service Plus
A vibrant colour, Terracotta Orange, was chosen to give a cheerful ambience in the room. Adjustable halogens were installed in the ceiling to provide additional lighting over the bed headrest to aid in reading and in dressing. Two power points were added to the shelf with a switch underneath to access the reading lights. Another additional light was also added over the mirror in the bathroom.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS.....
Whenever a tenant has vacated the room, renovations are a must at our property bringing each room to its immaculate condition. All the washing machines at the property are kept well maintained which range from flawless operations to hygiene conditions once a year. Tenants can be rest assured that utilisation of all equipments at the premises are in accordance to the "health and safety" regulations.
