ความสุขของคนทำโฮมสเตย์
ก็ไม่ใช่การมีลูกค้าใหม่ทุกวัน
แต่เป็นการได้ต้อนรับ "ลูกค้าเก่า" ที่กลับมาอีกครั้ง .
เช้าวันนี้อบอุ่นเป็นพิเศษ เพราะมีแขกที่เคยมาพักกับเราเมื่อ 2 ปีที่แล้ว กลับมาเยือนสวนสุขอีกครั้ง
แม้เราจะจำหน้ากันไม่ได้แล้ว
แต่การที่เขาจำสถานที่แห่งนี้ได้
และเลือกกลับมาอีกครั้ง ทำให้หัวใจของคนทำบ้านพักพองโตเลยค่ะ.

ความสุข ก็เป็นแค่การได้นั่งเงียบๆ
มองต้นไม้ไหวตามลม

ไม่มีเสียงเร่งรีบ
ไม่มีตารางแน่นๆ
มีแค่ลมหายใจ
กับเวลาที่เดินช้าลงอีกนิด

ที่นี่ เราชอบชีวิตแบบนี้
เรียบง่าย สงบ และค่อยๆ เติบโต

Some guests don’t come here to travel,
but to be with themselves.

We’ve had guests who stayed in silence,
practicing meditation,
choosing stillness as their companion.

We simply set times for breakfast and lunch
the rest of the day
belongs to their inner journey.

This home
is not just a place to stay,
but a space to pause… and reconnect within..

บางช่วงเวลาของบ้าน…
เงียบจนได้ยินเสียงหัวใจตัวเอง

มีลูกค้าบางคน
ไม่ได้มาพักเพื่อเที่ยว
แต่เดินทางมา “อยู่กับตัวเอง”

ที่นี่…
เราเคยมีแขกที่มาปฏิบัติธรรม
ปิดวาจา
ใช้ความเงียบเป็นเพื่อน

They were once little puppies,
running freely in the garden, playing in the dirt and grass.

Today…
they have become the true “receptionists” of Suan Sook

with wagging tails

At Suan Sook, mornings are meant to be gentle.

We serve a simple homemade breakfast —
warm rice porridge,
fresh juice,
and seasonal fruits from our garden.

Simple, but made with care.

Alongside drip coffee
made from beans grown by Karen hill tribe farmers in the mountains.

Take your time, sip slowly, enjoy the view,
and let your day begin peacefully.

เช้าที่นี่
เราอยากให้ทุกคนได้เริ่มวันแบบสบายๆ

อาหารเช้าของเรามี

และผลไม้ตามฤดูกาลจากสวน

one of our favorite choices is Moo Kratha.

Many of them have never seen it before,
so we gently guide them —
how to grill the meat, cook the vegetables,
and enjoy it with Thai-style dipping sauce.

And what we love the most…
is not just the food,
but the laughter, the conversations,
and the moment everyone gathers around the table.

เวลาที่ลูกค้าบอกว่าอยากลอง “อาหารแบบคนไทย”
หนึ่งในเมนูที่เราชอบแนะนำคือ หมูกระทะค่ะ

Sometimes, running a homestay
is not only about income…

it’s about people.

From a guest,
she became a friend we grew closer to over time.
She comes back to visit us… every year.

We share stories of life,
and the little moments of each day.

Once, I suggested she try a Vipassana meditation retreat.
She went… and she loved it.

It made me realize that
what we are creating here
is not just a place to stay,

but maybe a small part
of someone’s life journey.
