กลับมาอีกครั้ง! งานว่าวยักษ์นานาชาติ x Bangsaen Gallery 2026 : แสนสุขโข
มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา โดยคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ จัดกิจกรรมพิเศษ การแสดงว่าวยักษ์นานาชาติ (Inflatable Kite) “ล่องลมชมเสน่ห์ วิถีว่าวไทย”
ภายใต้โครงการ Bangsaen Gallery 2026 : แสนสุขโข
ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา เพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม ควบคู่การสร้างพื้นที่สร้างสรรค์และการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมของจังหวัดชลบุรี
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นการต่อยอดบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาในการเป็นศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้ด้านศิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น เปิดพื้นที่ให้ประชาชน เยาวชน และนักท่องเที่ยว ได้มีส่วนร่วมกับกิจกรรมศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัยที่เชื่อมโยงรากเหง้าความเป็นไทยเข้ากับบริบทสากล

กิจกรรมนี้สะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาในการสนับสนุนศิลปวัฒนธรรม การมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน และการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ ผ่านเทศกาลศิลปะที่เข้าถึงได้ทุกคน

Burapha University Supported Cultural Arts Activities. The Return of the International Giant Kite Festival x Bangsaen Gallery 2026: “Saen Suk Kho”.
Burapha University, through the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, organized a special cultural event featuring the International Giant Kite (Inflatable Kite) showcase under the theme “Drifting with the Wind: The Charm of Thai Kite Traditions” as part of the Bangsaen Gallery 2026: “Saen Suk Kho” festival. The initiative reflected the university’s commitment to promoting cultural arts learning while fostering creative spaces and enhancing cultural tourism in Chonburi Province.
The event was held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Eastern Center of Art and Culture, Burapha University, and Bangsaen Beach. Throughout the day, participants were invited to explore a wide range of activities that integrated traditional knowledge with contemporary creative practices. The program began with the exhibition “Thai Kites from the Four Regions,” which showcased the diversity and unique characteristics of traditional Thai kites from across the country.
In the afternoon, interactive workshops and demonstrations were conducted by both Thai and international artists. Participants had the opportunity to engage in kite painting activities and learn about the traditional techniques and craftsmanship involved in kite-making, allowing for hands-on cultural learning and creative expression.
The highlight of the event took place in the late afternoon at Bangsaen Beach, where the International Giant Kite (Inflatable Kite) show captivated audiences. Presented by THAITAN KITE TEAM THAILAND in collaboration with an international network of kite artists, the performance transformed the seaside sky into a dynamic canvas filled with large-scale, colorful kites soaring gracefully above the coastline. The spectacle created a vibrant and memorable artistic atmosphere, attracting both local residents and visitors.
This event underscored Burapha University’s role as a leading institution in advancing arts, culture, and local wisdom, while strengthening connections between communities, youth, and international audiences. By integrating cultural heritage with contemporary artistic practices, the university continued to contribute to the development of a creative economy and positioned Bangsaen as an accessible and inspiring cultural destination.
The International Giant Kite Festival was not only a visual spectacle but also a meaningful platform that encouraged public participation, cultural appreciation, and sustainable community engagement. As part of Bangsaen Gallery 2026: “Saen Suk Kho,” the event reinforced the vision of transforming Bangsaen into a vibrant hub of art, culture, and creativity in Thailand’s Eastern region.
