🌴 Getting Ready for High Season! 🌺

We’re heading into High Season and want the garden to look better than ever! 🌿
Yesterday we received a big load of gravel and tiles, and they’re already laid out beautifully — we think it looks fantastic!

Now it’s just a few finishing touches left: a fresh coat of paint on the wooden tables and chairs, and a few meters of artificial grass underneath to tie it all together.

Can’t wait to see our guests relaxing out there soon — it’s really starting to feel like the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening chat under the stars. ☕✨

Early 1900s – When King Rama VI built his summer palace, small streets began forming nearby — one of them became Selakam Road (ศิลาคม).

June 30th marked the end of a truly special chapter at our guesthouse, as we said goodbye to our beloved manager, Kanjana—known to many as Pong.

She has returned to her roots at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, working once again as a caddy—a role she has held with pride for much of her life. Surrounded now by her family, longtime friends, and the sport she loves not just to support but to play, Pong is exactly where her heart has always belonged.

We were lucky to have her with us for these past few years. Her warmth, tireless dedication, and especially her smile left a lasting impression—not only on the team but on countless guests, many of whom returned simply because they felt so genuinely welcomed by her.

While we’ll miss her greatly, we’re comforted by the thought that anyone who wants to see that unforgettable smile again only needs to head over to the golf course—just 800 meters away—where Pong is once again making her rounds, this time on the fairways.

Thank you, Pong, for everything. You will always be part of our family.

It’s been a challenging few days with heavy rain ⛈💧☔️, but we’re now hoping for brighter skies and some sunshine.
These photos were taken just 200-300 meters from us, and we’ve been relatively lucky. In a couple of rooms, water has made its way in from unexpected spots, but our sturdy, old houses have held up well.
Most of our guests haven’t encountered any issues. For those of you who did experience some problems, we sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience. 🙏❤️
