💦 𝗖𝗵𝗮-𝗮𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗶 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
Cha-am is getting ready for Songkran with a full programme of events running from 10–19 April, culminating in the Wan Lai celebrations on 16–17 April.
The main Wan Lai event will take place along the southern Cha-am beach area, with a mix of water activities, music, and entertainment planned.
Festival highlights are set to include:
• A 1-kilometre water tunnel
• A live music stage and DJs
• 10 foam zones
• 20 water service points
In addition, a wider schedule of activities will run throughout the 10-day period:
• Evening events (10–19 April, 18:00–00:00) at the beachfront viewpoint
• Seafood, live music, and a relaxed atmosphere along the coast
• Traditional Songkran activities on 13 April, including:
• Almsgiving ceremony
• Water-pouring ceremony for the elderly
• Parade from Long Beach Hotel to the municipal office
Officials say safety measures are in place to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both residents and visitors.
