โพสต์นี้แสดงถึงการกำจัดวัชพืชในแปลงนา ของโครงการ ต้นแบบในพระราชดำริโคกหนองนาที่พันดาวโฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรี ที่ใช้วิธีการดั้งเดิมด้วยการถอนด้วยมือ ซึ่งอาจจะดูช้าและใช้เวลามาก แต่เป็นวิธีการที่ได้ผลดีที่สุด และลดค่าใช้จ่ายได้ระดับหนึ่ง
จะเห็นว่า วัชพืช บางอย่างในขณะที่ยังอายุน้อย จะแยกความแตกต่างจากต้นข้าวได้ค่อนข้างยาก จะต้องอาศัยการสังเกตและประสบการณ์การทำนาพอสมควร
ภาพ1-3 แสดงถึง วัชพืชที่ถอนออกมาจาก แปลงนาแล้ว. จะเห็นว่าภาพที่3 วัชพืชมีความเหมือนเกือบจะ100% กับต้นข้าว

Updating you on how we get rid of those w**ds to keep the rice fields less intimidated at the Pilot Project on the maximization of land use under the Royal Initiatives @ Pundao homestay Kanchanaburi
Normally some w**ds , at an early stage, are not easy to differentiate from the rice stalks : some trained eyes and rice farming experience are required to see the what is what.
At the Pilot Project,we use the primitive ways of eradicating the w**ds by hands which is the most effective technique so far, but it is time-consuming process and the results are satisfactory

The first 5 pictures show you how the w**ds look like after being picked out from the fields showing that some are clearing distinguable from the rice stalks while some are definitely not as shown on the 3rd picture.
The last 4 pictures were taken from our neighbours’ fields using other different technique of rice planting; broadcasting technique.
From our naked decent eyes you would probably notice that w**ds are so rampant and uncontrollable in those fields using broadcasting which requires lots of w**ds killer that means the added cost .

จะรายงานความงดงามอีกครั้งเมื่อข้าวแตกรวงเต็มพื้นที่.

Updating you on the most recent progress of the out season crop at exactly 2 months old at the Pilot Project on the maximisation of land use under the Royal Initiatives @ Pundao homestay Kanchanaburi 08/05/26. Thé rice fields are growing well as expected with some w**ds to be seen but under control .
The rice blooming is in a week or two and will share that moment with you later on.

ข้าวนาปรังด้วย วิธีการดำนา อายุครบ1เดือนพอดีวันนี้ 07/04/69 ข้าวแตกกองดงาม วัชพืชมีบ้างแต่ควบคุมอยู่
ข้าวนาดำใช้น้ำหล่อเลี้ยงมาก จะรายงานความคืบหน้าอีก1เดือนเมื่อข้าวเริ่มจะตั้งท้อง.
Showing you here is how the off season rice crop is looking like at a month old today 07/04/26 .
The rice seedlings keep expanding well with some w**ds but in a controllable amount.This trans-planting technique requires more water in the rice fields than those with broadcasting one.
Will keep you posted in a month or so when the rice fields are about to get blooming.

ขอแบ่งปันบรรยากาศการเจริญเติบโตของแปลงนา ที่ใช้วิธีการปลูกที่แตกต่างกันโดยสิ้นเชิง ในที่นี้คือ การหว่าน และการปักดำ

3 ภาพแรก เป็นวิธีการการปักดำ ที่ต้องการน้ำหล่อเลี้ยงอย่างพอเพียงเพื่อให้ต้นกล้าปรับสภาพให้เข้ากับสภาพแวดล้อมหลังจากถูกแยกออกมาจากเแปลงเพาะกล้า
วิธีการนี้สุ่มเสี่ยงหากเกษตรกร ไม่มีแหล่งน้ำสำรอง

3ภาพหลัง เป็นวิธีการหว่าน ต้นข้าวไม่ต้องปรับตัวเพราะงอกออกมาจากเมล็ดเลยหลังจากถูกหว่านลงนา หลังการหว่านแล้วจะมีการใช้ยาฆ่ายาเพื่อป้องกันวัชพืชนานาชนิด ข้าวเล็กๆที่เพิ่งงอกออกมาอาจเจอกับผลกระทบจากยาฆ่าหญ้าบ้าง

เรามาคอยดูอัตราการงอกงามภายใน1เดือนกันนะครับ.
Updating you on the growth development of rice fields using 2 different techniques of cultivation in Thailand: broadcasting vs. trans-planting
Those first 3 pics showing trans-planting which requires adequate water at this stage during the so called “acclimatization period “ Those rice seedlings were transferred from the nursery fields into the new environment of the new rice fields.
This technique is quite risky if farmers have not got their own water resources.

The latter 3 pics are from broadcasting technique from the nearby fields .
The young seedlings are from the germination process few days after the sowing when farmers normally spray some w**ds killer to control w**ds .

Let’s wait and see in a matter of month or so how these 2 techniques work.

ถึงเวลาต้องทดลองและปรับเปลี่ยน !

การปลูกข้าวนาปรังทุกปี เกษตรกรไทยจะพบกับปัญหาวัชพืชมากมาย ค่าใช้จ่ายในการใช้ยากำจัดวัชพืชสูงเป็นเงาตามตัว เพราะส่วนใหญ่ทำนาโดยวิธีการหว่าน แทนการปักดำ เช่นบรรพบุรุษทำมา ปัญหาเรื่องกำลังงานในภาคเกษตรกรรมเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญให้ผู้คนละทิ้งวิธีการทำนาแบบดั้งเดิม
เนื่องจาก พันดาว โฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรีเป็นโครงการต้นแบบในพระราชดำริโคก หนอง นา การทดลองและการปรับเปลี่ยนเป็นเรื่องสำคัญ การทำข้าวนาปรังปีนี้จึงเปลี่ยนจากการหว่านมาทำการปักดำ( ด้วยเครื่องจักร)ด้วยความหวังว่าปัญหาเรื่องวัชพืชจะเบาบางลง และผลผลิตจะเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างเห็นได้ชัด
เรามารอดูผลลัพธ์ปลายเดือน มิถุนายนนี้นะครับ.พันดาวโฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรี พร้อมที่จะปรับเปลี่ยน.
Dry season crop is definitely not recommended in any sense of the word: difficulties in water management, rampant and rapid propagation of w**ds on the rice fields etc….
In the older days ,we used trans-planting technique in rice farming in the low lying areas but due to shortage of labour in agricultural sector ,farmers these days have shifted to broadcasting technique which is easier and faster.
What comes with this latter technique is very high rate of summer w**ds in all rice fields that require lots of w**d killers resulting in higher cost of farming.
As a pilot project, Pundao homestay Kanchanaburi is quite ready for a 180 degree change!
This dry season crop of 2026 we are back to basic using trans-planting technique ( by machine,of course!)as our forefathers used to do , in the hope of a more manageable eradication of w**ds and a higher yielding.

โครงการต้นแบบในพระราชดำริ โคกหนองนา ที่ พันดาวโฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรี อายุครบ 3ปี3เดือน 12/03/69 กำลังเติบโตต่อสู้กับอากาศกลางฤดูร้อนที่นับว่าจะรุนแรงขึ้นทุกปี.

มะพร้าวน้ำหอมกำลังโตเต็มที่และคาดว่าบางต้นจะออกผลอย่างเร็วสุดปลายปีนี้ มะม่วง ออกตามฤดูกาล แต่ที่ออกผลตลอดปีคือกล้วยน้ำว้า .
บริเวณไม้ยืนต้น เติบโตสูงกว่า 4เมตรในระยะเวลาเพียง3ปี โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ยางนา มะฮอกกานี ประดู่ และตะเคียน.

ไม้ยืนต้นตระกูล ….พฤกษ์ ออกดอกสลับสีสวยงาม ชัยพฤกษ์และกัลปพฤกษ์
โครงการต้นแบบที่ พันดาวโฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรีเน้นไม้ยืนต้นเป็นหลัก โดยหวังว่าจะเป็นปอดน้อยๆให้กับชุมชน และให้เป็นที่ศึกษาพันธุ์ไม้ ในกาลต่อไป.

Those young coconut trees are thriving in full swing with some of them are going to bear fruit by the end of the year while the banana trees have been yielding all year round.
Those trees in the hardwood zone are growing at an impressive rate measuring more than 4 metres in the course of a mere 3 year
The wild flower trees have started blooming for a week or two by now.
We particularly focus on those hardwood trees hoping this area to because a new green zone for the community and to study those rare species of wood thus becoming a cooling spot of a greener environment.
We wholeheartedly welcome all visitors ever day.

ขอแบ่งปันบรรยากาศ เช้าตรู่ จาก โครงการต้นแบบในพระราชดำริ โคกหนองนา ช่วงฤดูหนาวก่อนสิ้นปี2568 การเก็บเกี่ยวเสร็จสิ้น รอการเตรียมแปลงนา ฤดูกาลข้าวนาปรังต่อไป จะเริ่มได้ประมาณปลายเดือนกุมภาพันธ์2569 เมื่อได้รับการ ผันน้ำมาจาก เขื่อนแม่กลอง.
เวลานี้ต้องจัดการบริหารรักษาระดับน้ำในโครงการไม่ให้ต่ำมากเกินไปเพื่อการอยู่รอดของสัตว์น้ำในบ่อ
Sharing with you the early morning vibe seen from the Pilot Project on the maximisation of land use under the Royal Initiatives at Pundao homestay Kanchanaburi on the cool dry month of December 2525when the rice harvest is done and we are now starting the work on the fields to welcome the next dry season crop which is due by late February 2526 when the water is allocated from the nearby dam.
We are trying to keep the level of water in the pond to be not too low and habitable to all those aquatic creatures in the project.

การรับขวัญข้าว ฤดูกาลข้าวนาปี 31/10/68 เป็นประเพณีที่สืบทอดมาเมื่อข้าวเริ่มออกรวง เพื่อเป็นการถวายอาหารแก่แม่โพสพ เทพธิดาแห่งท้องนา เป็นประเพณีที่ปฏิบัติสืบทอดกันมา เพื่อสร้างขวัญและกำลังใจแก่ชาวนาเพื่อผลผลิตที่งดงาม ณ ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ โครงการต้นแบบในพระราชดำริโคกหนองนาที่ พันดาวโฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรี เรามีความตั้งใจที่จะยังคงรักษาประเพณีอันดีงามนี้ สืบไป.
A ritual of victuals tribute to Mae Posop , the Godess of the rice fields at the Learning Centre of the Pilot Project on the maximization of land use under the Royal Initiatives @ Pundao homestay Kanchanaburi this 31/10/25 . It has been practiced and aimed to boost moral among Thai farmers for a fruitful harvest .
We shall keep this tradition alive at this learning centre to the best of our abilities.

ขอแบ่งปันความเป็นธรรมชาติและเขียวขจีของโครงการต้นแบบในพระราชดำริ โคก หนอง นา ที่พันดาวโฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรี ช่วงกลางฤดูฝน อายุโครงการ2ปี 8เดือน เริ่มเป็นรูปเป็นร่างมากขึ้นหลังจากผ่านฤดูฝนที่3 ภายในเวลาอันใกล้นี้ ไม้ยืนต้นสูงกว่า 3เมตรในระยะเวลาต่ำกว่า3ปีซึ่งเหนือความคาดหมาย กล้วย ขนุน มะม่วง และ มะละกอ เพิ่มให้ผลในช่วงปีที่ผ่านมา มะพร้าวน้ำหอมคาดว่าจะออกผลผลิตในฤดูร้อนหน้านี้.
วัชพืชเริ่มไม่น่าเป็นห่วงเพราะไม้ยืนต้นปกคลุมเกือบทั้งโครงการ.

Updating you on the development of the Pilot Project on the maximization of land use under the Royal Initiatives at Pundao homestay Kanchanaburi in the middle of the rainy season of 2025 when the project is creeping slowly into its 3rd anniversaries . Those hardware trees are growing tall beyond expectations measuring more than 3 mètres high in less than 3 years.
Bananas,mango and jackfruit trees started their first yieldings this past year while the coconut trees are expected to bear fruits in a year or so.
Weeds are becoming things of the past and less invading as high trees are taking over almost of the project’s areas.
We warmly invited those people being interested in the theory of a mixed cultivation to visit the project understanding advanced booking for your convenience.

การเป็นโครงการต้นแบบค่อนข้างท้าทาย โดยเฉพาะการเป็นแบบอย่างในการไม่เผาซังข้าวหลังการเก็บเกี่ยวเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการทำนาปีที่กำลังจะเกิดขึ้นอีกประมาณ1เดือนเศษ ซึ่งนับว่า กระชั้นชิด มาก
ที่พันดาวโฮมสเตย์กาญจนบุรี เราใช้วิธีการตัดโคนตอข้าวด้วยเครื่องตัดหญ้า ไถกลบ ให้เกิดการย่อยสลายตามธรรมชาติ จากนั้นรอปล่อยน้ำให้ท่วม
การทำขั้นตอนที่กล่าวมา มีค่าใช้จ่ายแต่หากมองในระยะไกลแล้วจะเป็นคุณกับความสมบูรณ์ของแผ่นดินและสภาพแวดล้อมมากกว่าการเผาตอข้าวแน่นอน
Being the pilot project is quite challenging when it comes to setting examples to others by NOT burning the rice fields after the harvest to pave way for the next annual crop which is due in a mere month or so . When the interval between the 2 crops is too tight there nothing more convenient to those farmers,than burning up the whole rice fields to get rid of those hard remaining rice stalks.
What Pundao homestay is trying to set a new standard seems to be an uphill task and comes with a price but looking at the big picture it is beneficial to the futility of the soil and the worsening environment.
