From the end to the beginning and our next chapter…

Today, November 9, 2025, marks the 26th anniversary of Sarikantang - a name that will forever bring sunshine to our hearts.

Now, a month after the closure, we’d love to share a little update on where life has taken our Sarikantang family.

Some of our team have brought their smiles and energy to our sister properties - Silan Residence, at Chaloklum and Green Papaya at Haad Salad. Some have gone home to spend long-awaited time with their families after many years on the island, recharging and enjoying the slower pace of life. Others have started small businesses, chasing new dreams, while a few are traveling for the very first time of their life - exploring the beauty of Thailand and beyond. Even our furry friends have happily settled into their new homes at our other hotels.

Before these memories fade away, we wanted to capture and share them for the last time - the history, the moments, and the spirit of Sarikantang - along with our heartfelt appreciation message for our incredible team who made this place what it was.

This video is a time capsule of what we built together. Wherever we are, Sarikantang will always be our and your Home away from home. We miss all of you 🙂

วันนี้ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2025 คือวันครบรอบ 26 ปีของศะรีกันตัง - ชื่อที่ยังคงอบอุ่นอยู่ในใจของพวกเราทุกคน

ผ่านไปหนึ่งเดือนหลังการปิดให้บริการของโรงแรมของเรา เราอยากเล่าให้ฟังเล็กน้อยว่าชีวิตของครอบครัวศะรีกันตังวันนี้เป็นอย่างไรบ้าง

บางคนได้พารอยยิ้มและพลังใจไปเติมเต็มที่โรงแรมในเครือของเรา - Silan Residence ที่หาดโฉลกหลำ และ Green Papaya Beach Resort ที่หาดสลัด บางคนกลับบ้านไปใช้เวลาที่รอคอยกับครอบครัว หลังจากทำงานบนเกาะมาหลายปี ได้พักใจและใช้ชีวิตในจังหวะที่ช้าลง บางคนเริ่มต้นธุรกิจเล็กๆ ไล่ตามความฝันใหม่ ขณะที่บางคนออกเดินทางเป็นครั้งแรกในชีวิต เพื่อค้นพบความงดงามของเมืองไทยและที่อื่นๆ ในโลก แม้แต่เพื่อนสี่ขาของเราก็ได้ไปอยู่บ้านใหม่อย่างอบอุ่นที่โรงแรมในเครือของเรา

ก่อนที่ความทรงจำเหล่านี้จะจางไป เราอยากเก็บและแบ่งปันไว้เป็นครั้งสุดท้าย - ทั้งเรื่องราว ช่วงเวลา และจิตวิญญาณของศะรีกันตัง พร้อมคำขอบคุณจากใจถึงทีมงานที่ทำให้ที่แห่งนี้งดงามอย่างที่มันเป็น

วิดีโอนี้คือบันทึกแห่งเวลา ของสิ่งที่เราสร้างร่วมกัน ไม่ว่าเราจะอยู่ที่ไหน ศะรีกันตังจะยังคงเป็น “บ้านหลังที่สอง” ของพวกเราทุกคนเสมอ

Dear Friends, Guests, and Our Sarikantang Family,

Twenty-five years ago, we followed a quiet dream down a sandy path shaded by coconut trees. At the end of that path, we built a small haven by the sea , guided not by blueprints, but by heart. That place became Sarikantang.

It began with a mother’s vision, carried forward by family hands, and shaped by the footsteps of every person who came here. We did not know that the sound of waves could hold so many memories, or that morning light on the sea could feel like home.

Sarikantang was never just a resort. It was a feeling. A place where guests returned again and again, not for luxury, but for something gentler - warm smiles, barefoot days, shared sunsets. Over the years, it became a place woven with laughter, tears, celebrations, and quiet farewells.

As we are closing this beloved chapter, we find comfort in the words of Kahlil Gibran, who wrote, “Sadness is but a wall between two gardens.” We believe this ending is also a beginning - for all of us who carry a piece of this place within.

These photos are our way of remembering together. These pages are footprints in the sand. Some will fade, others will stay. But all were made with love.

Our Farewell : Where the Shore Fades, Love Remains and the Journey Carries Forward

After 25 unforgettable years by the sea, the time has come for us to say goodbye to Sarikantang Resort & Spa. Our time at this very special location is coming to an end as our lease agreement naturally concludes, we will be closing our doors on September 1, 2025.

Though our place will soon be still, the memories live on. Like footprints in the sand or laughter on the wind, they may fade from sight, but not from the heart. The trees that shaded you, the waves that welcomed you, the calm you found here - these stay with you, and with us, timeless.

Until our final day, we welcome you to return - walk the beach beneath the mangrove trees, watch one last sunset over Seekantang Bay, and cherish all the memories, once again, with love.

We now look to the horizon, carrying forward the spirit, warmth, and soul of Sarikantang into a new journey - a new home in Haad Salad, west coast of Koh Phangan, where familiar faces and heartfelt hospitality will live on.

หลังจากที่ Sarikantang Resort & Spa ได้มีโอกาสต้อนรับทุกท่านด้วยความรักและความอบอุ่นมาตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 25 ปี ขณะนี้ก็มาถึงช่วงเวลาที่เราต้องอำลาสถานที่อันเป็นที่รักแห่งนี้กันแล้วนะคะ

รีสอร์ทของเราจะให้บริการวันสุดท้ายในวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2568 และเปิดให้บริการสำหรับ Friends & Family จนถึง 15 กันยายน 2568 ค่ะ

แม้รีสอร์ทจะปิดตัวลง แต่จิตวิญญาณของ Sarikantang — ทั้งบรรยากาศ ความอบอุ่น การบริการจากใจ และความทรงจำที่เราสร้างร่วมกัน — จะยังคงดำเนินต่อไป

ทีมงานหลายท่าน รวมถึงครอบครัวของเรา จะร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์บ้านหลังใหม่บนหาดสลัด เกาะพะงัน ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างการเตรียมเปิดให้บริการในอนาคตอันใกล้นี้
