Coco Garden welcomes you to a warm & friendly atmosphere, provided for guests and staff alike. We now have 22 bungalows and offer clean & affordable accommodation to those wishing to kick back & relax, enjoy good food and have fun in Koh PhaNgan! Situated amid a beautiful garden of shady coconut trees on Ban Tai beach, Coco Garden is 5 minutes by taxi from the main town of Thong Sala and just 20 m

inutes from Haad Rin. The long unbroken stretch of palm fringed beach is an idyllic spot for lounging in the sun and enjoying the sunset & great views of neighbouring Koh Samui. Koh PhaNgan is located about 650km south of Bangkok in the gulf of Thailand. It’s the 5th largest island in the kingdom, is 167 sq kilometres in size and is home to about 15,000 people. The island is not only renowned for it’s internationally acclaimed Full Moon Party, but also for it’s untouched tropical wildlife and the wonderful underwater world that surrounds it.

Our Story

Hey there! We are Adrian & Lee, 2 old friends from school in Jersey, Channel Islands.

During our twenties, we hit the road together on many colorful trips across SE Asia. We both loved travelling and had truly been bit by the travel bug and indeed countless countries are still being ticked off the list.

After a while these trips (and cash) slowed down, so we focused our efforts on saving enough funds to start a business overseas, and live out the alternative lifestyles, we had been experiencing.

An agreement was reached, choosing Thailand as our 1st choice destination. In 2006 we left our jobs in Banking and the Auto Trade, and left to explore the Kingdom. Eventually we settled down in Koh Phangan and finally came across Coco Garden and opened our doors on 1st Feb 2007.

But why Koh Phangan? Well, the stunning beaches and laid-back carefree vibe played a big part in the decision. Coming from an Island of similar size, we felt pretty much at home straight away, albeit it worlds apart.

12 years later we are still here going strong and fully integrated into the local community. We are still loving all the Island has to offer. We take great pride in our work and do our very best to provide a friendly, fun place for people to visit.

There has been lots of changes and developments over the years with a few twists and turns. All in an amazing experience made all the more special by the wonderful guests who have stayed with us, some of whom turn out to be lifelong friends. Looking forward to the next Chapter.
